Cristina Cardenas - February 15, 2012
Dear Tio Mundo, Tia Aurora, Tia Irene and Tia Edmida:
Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with you during this time. I know seeing Danny will bring you comfort during this time. We were so glad to have spent a little time with Tia Graciela just a couple of months ago for Christmas. We have a beautiful picture of Tia as a reminder of who she was and all of the wonderful things she accomplished in her life. We will miss being able to call her and talk with her and to listen to her stories of past years.
I am sure that she is watching over us in heaven. May God Bless you all. Con carino, Cristina

We offer our deepest sympathy to the Ramirez Family on the loss of Tia Grace. I have many fond memories of Tia Grace. She had a very impressive list of credentials, accomplishments and education; she should be very proud of such achievements. She was always very thoughtful to me and my siblings. I remember sometime around 1972 when I was young boy, I sang "Noche De Paz" for her while we were visiting at her house on Garcia St. during the Christmas holidays. She gave me a brand new $1 bill just for singing that Christmas song with her...at the time, that was a nice little treat for an 8-yr old boy! In later years, she always made the effort to show up at the Ramirez Office Building to visit with my Dad and brother and I, (and most recently with my wife, Krista), whenever we would make our Laredo ranch trips. I remember how much she loved her classic baby blue and white Ford pickup truck, still in excellent condition after all these years! She will be missed by us dearly. We are keeping her, Tia Irene, Uncle Ed and the entire extended Ramirez Family in our prayers. God bless you all! Sincerely and with our sympathy, Mr. and Mrs. David & Krista Ramirez

I am deeply saddened to learn of Grace's death. She was a marvelous individual who I met through the oil and gas business. She taught me many things. I will remember her most for her courage and conviction. I will miss you, Gracie.
