Obituary:
Felipa M. Villarreal, 95, a sophisticated and proper woman who imparted her etiquette and life skills to her family throughout the years, entered the kingdom of heaven on Saturday, February 11, 2012. Her values have been passed down and will continue to be passed down through the generations to come.

Mrs. Felipa M. Villarreal, was a descendant of one of the pioneering families of South Texas, the Uribe-Martinez family. She was an educator with the Laredo Independent School District for 25 years, where she helped shape young minds into the professionals they are today. She was also a faithfully devout Catholic woman who instilled the values of her faith to her family. Felipa was an active member of several associations which include: Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Isabella the Catholic, Cattle Women Association, The Retired Teacher's Association, as well as the Alhambras. She will be greatly missed and her legacy shall live forever in our hearts and minds.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Jesús Martínez, Sinecio Martínez and José Martínez; sisters, María Gutiérrez, Rebecca Ortiz, Sylvia Martínez and Evangelina Maldonado and grandson, Derek Treviño.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Erasmo C. Villarreal; sons, Erasmo A. (Elizabeth) Villarreal and Roberto A. Villarreal; grandchildren, Jessica (Ramiro Liendo) Villarreal, Christopher Villarreal, Lynda Villarreal, Lizette Villarreal, Priscilla Rangel, Amanda Treviño, Verónica (Efraín Acevedo) Treviño, and Samantha Treviño; and great-grandchildren, Sophia A. Salazar, Robert Hernández, Giovanni Hernández and Antonio E. Acevedo as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family wishes to extend their utmost gratitude to her caregivers, Maria Elena, Sylvia, Angela, Marina and Sara for all of their excellent care and support.
