Obituary: Mr. Francisco Mireles, III, was called to his heavenly home on Saturday, January 28, 2012 surrounded by his loving family at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents: Francisco Mireles, Jr. and Viviana Mireles as well as his brothers: Pedro, Ricardo and Adrian Mireles Surviving him is his loving wife, Mrs. Martha Mireles; daughters and son, Monica (Javier) Sanchez, Elizabeth (Gustavo) Mireles Martorel, Francisco Mireles, IV and Johanna Mireles; grandchildren, Leopoldo Garibay, Eduardo J. Garibay, Francisco Mireles, V, Jose Eduardo Perez, Veronica Mireles, Edgardo Mireles and Andres Mireles. He is further survived by his sisters, Angelina Wise and Lilia Arce. |

Our condolences to all of the Mireles family. Frank (Pancho) was a childhood friend of mine during our pre-teen and early teen years. I can still recall playing sandlot baseball and football and just hanging out with other kids in the neighborhood (on Juarez ave.) like the Placencias - - Ismael, Puffy, Pelota, the Villarreal twins Frank and Fred and the Armabula brothers Santiago and Jose Luis. I have very fond memories from those days growing up in Laredo. May Frank rest in peace.
