She is preceded in death by her husband: Arturo Avila; son, Jose Arturo Avila; parents Jose and Matilde Avila and brother: Leopoldo Garcia. Surviving her are her children: Martha (Jose) Maldonado, Agustin (Beatriz) Avila, Guadalupe (Manuel) Escobedo, Juan Jose Avila; daughter in law, Julieta Avila; grandchildren: Joe Maldonado, Cynthia Avila, Ilse Avila, Samantha Escobedo, Manuel Escobedo, Agustin Avila, Jr. as well as her only great grandchild, Xzavier Maldonado. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
